This was my wife's Demo for three years, sold it to a elderly previous customer that drove it for 20 months until he was unable to drive any more. He only put 4,000 miles on it. I purchased another Prius V 2013 model for my wife's demo, which she has now. If you do your research you will find out what we already know, the Prius is one of the longest lasting vehicle ever built. Toyota invented the hybrid way back 22 years ago, and has 727 patents on the system. Today Toyota has a hybrid in every single model they sell, from the Corolla, all the way to the Tundra. Its not uncommon to find these vehicles still running with 500,000 miles, with the original engine, transmission, and battery. My family and I have been driving older, higher mileage Prius's for the last 10 years with great success.
